I'm happy to inform you that in the recent announcement of research grants competition results, York researchers were awarded over $2.8 million in Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) grants, $4.8 million in Natural Sciences & Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Discovery Grants, and over $2 million in Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) grants.

Continuing to mark our milestones, the York and Statistics Canada research community gathered to celebrate the opening of the York University Statistics Canada Research Data Centre (RDC) in York Lanes on April 22.

On May 5, the York Leadership Roundtable connected York Region senior business executives and community leaders with York University researchers and senior administrators.
